Sigma Technology is a Swedish technology and data consultancy. In digital product passport projects, Sigma runs the readiness analysis that shows which products are affected, which data already exists and what is missing. dpp.cloud, the digital product passport platform by sqanit, builds the passport on that basis.

What does Sigma Technology do?

Sigma Technology supports companies with technology, information and data consulting, at the interface between product data, IT systems and documentation. For digital product passports, Sigma offers pre-analyses and feasibility studies that assess a company's needs, resources and existing infrastructure and lead to a DPP strategy, starting with a free two-hour consultation. Sigma also sits on the Swedish standardization committee for digital product passports.

Sigma Technology announced its partnership with sqanit in its own press release, with Sigma in the role of integrator that tailors the sqanit platform to each client.

What is a DPP readiness analysis?

Before a company can publish a digital product passport, it needs a clear picture of its starting point: which regulations apply to which products, from when, and which data gaps have to be closed. Sigma answers these questions in a readiness analysis with a fixed scope. dpp.cloud picks up where the analysis ends and publishes the passport with a GS1 Digital Link QR code.
